Our Christmas Tree....

We went to Wyoming this weekend to my Grandma's 80th Birthday Party, on our way we (my brothers and our family's) went and cut down a Christmas Tree.

This has lots and lots of memories for me!! This was something we always did as a family when I was growing up. My first or earliest memory is when we (my mom, my dad, and Nick) went to cut a Christmas Tree. I was about 3 and we got stuck and a snow plow had to pull us out. The best part is I always stood on the seat and put my arm around my dad, well when we got stuck, Nick fell on the floor car seat and all. LOL!!!

Here are some pictures of us geting our tree. The family one is kind of SAD we set the camara up, it was BUT COLD, and I have my eyes closed, but it is fun anyway!!

our vacation

Larry and I went on a mini vacation this past weekend. We went to St. George, Zion National Park and VEGAS!! We had tons and tons of fun!!! Check out some pictures....

Happy (late) Halloween

We had so much fun on Halloween this year! Chawndell was a Princess, and she loved every minute of it! We were so lucky to be able to spend the evening with Skylee and she was so cute all dressed up as Tinkerbell! Enjoy the pictures.

Hello all! I have some pictures to update you on the life of the Christensen Family.
This is Chawndell's 7th grade school picture.



We had a fun and busy weekend. Larry and I took Chawndell and her friend Heather for a ride up to Causey Reservoir, it was a nice ride, but it was cold and wet.






Than on Sunday we went on a Hike. We hiked up to White Rock in Willard. We went with our friends and had lots of fun!! The pictures do not show you how amazing it is!! The first one is blurry, but it is of Larry and Leon helping the kids up on the HUGE HUGE HUGE rock. The pictures looking down from the rock are of Willard Bay and the Great Salt Lake. It is just amazing to me. Enjoy!

Nice Long Ride

We went for a nice long ride today. We went up to Mirror Lake and around to WYO, and came home through Bear Lake. The colors were soooo Pretty!!! It was nice to spend time together and enjoy each other!!!!!! Check out the fun pictures of the HUGE water fall, and TWO Moose!! We had a FUN FUN Day!! Enjoy!!!

Ride on our 4 whellers

Larry and I went for a ride on the 4 wheelers up to Willard Peek last night. We went with Peggy and Leon and had lots of fun!!! Check out these pictures, the dust was soooo bad and we all were covered in it. We left in the evening, and seen a amazing sun set!!!!

Our ER Visit's

Yes I know this is kind of late for me to blog about this but, allot of you know Chawndell had a very exciting Labor Day weekend. Fist off last week was the first week of school and that is VERY stressful for Chawndell and when Chawndell is Stressed she gets headaches. So with that said she had a headache all week and, come Saturday it had turned into a full blown migraine. She woke up in the middle of the night, into Sunday shaking and we (Larry and I) thought she had a seizure. Let me tell you all I was sooooo scared!!! She started to calm down and then started to throw up, the light bulb came on and I realized it was her migraine. Well as the day worn on on Sunday she started to run a fever and the pediatrician recommend we take her to the ER. They ran lots of test and sent us home saying she had a Migraine and a viral infection. We head home in hopes all will go well and we will get some sleep, and for some reason (always at our home) she is sick all night long throwing up and the Poops (as Chawndell calls it) As monday comes around I think she is getting better and we are on the mend, so we run to a friend house to grab some YUMMY Plums and Low and Behold Chawndell gives MOM (me) the ultmate heart attack and the little shit (sorry but I say that loving) Passes out at our friends house. Off to the ER we go again, keep in mind it is Labor day weekend. SOOOOOOOO we spent about 5 hours at the ER she had a EKG and Cat Scan and IT IS ALL NORMAL. So we say what the HELL is wrong than. They tell us she has a migraine and a viral infection, she passed out because of the tummy cramps and lack of food for the past couple of days. They called her fainting episode a Vegal Reaction and they tell us it is normal and not harmful, well Larry sayes if it is normal than why has no one heard about it before??????? Needless to say Chawndell gets a week off from school and mom and dad have a large ER bill to pay. :) Joys of being parents!! We are so grateful for our friends Leon and Peggy who answered our phone call at one in the morning and took Chawndell and I to the ER the second time!!! Also for our Parents who were at the ER with us, and their never ending support!! It is Wednesday and Chawndell is feeling LOTS better. Larry and Chawndell will have fun tomorrow watching movies and enjoying each other, Lucky for Lar it is his day off and I get the break and go back to work. Larry took a couple of pictures with his phone in the ER. Thanks for reading my rambling! Enjoy!

Update

Here is my family update. Fist off it has been a busy FUN summer and School starts in a WEEK YUCK!!!!! We (chawndell and I) are not ready. The school shopping is done, but we are not wanting summer to end. Larry and I have been to Lagoon Twice and we have had TONS OF FUN!!!!! I love to ride the roller coasters and Larry he just goes to spend time with me!!!! Chawndell went to girls camp and Loved every minute of it. The first thing she told me when she came home was, "Mom, no hug me stink" I told her "I don't care, get your butt over here I have MISSED you!!!!" So needless to say the first thing she did was get in the shower and took a 2 hour nap. We have been camping riding the 4 wheelers and spending to much money on the damn fish tank. :) It has been a very enjoyable summer. If I have not told you already, we don't want it to end!!!!

Chawndell will be in the 7th grade this year. When we went to her well child check up she was 5 feet 2 inches and 100lbs, a far cry from the day she was born 7lbs 17 inches. Time a flown by I can't believe she is a teenager and Larry and I have been together 15 years!!!!!!!!!!!

Fire Season is HERE

Rabbit Cage :)

We had some friends over the other night to have a bon fire and cook out, well there was a old rabbit cage the kids found and they wanted to see if they all could fit in the cage, that gave Larry the opportunity to HOSE them off while they are all in the CAGE. They were not to happy about getting wet but Larry was having fun!!!! Well when the kids got out the WAR was on they were going to Larry!!!

Chawndell's Birthday was lots of fun and she was spoiled (like always) We went swimming than came home opened presents and ate tons of cake and ice cream. I LOVE the picture of Chawndell and Larry!!
